Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil

Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil in Hazel - £2.99

Hey guys, so I was running low on my Avon glimmerstick eyebrow pencil. I haven't really strayed from that, because I've always been happy using them and the finish I get. However, I ordered this online from Superdrug, it was only £2.99 and though I would give it a go because I'm normally pretty happy with Rimmel products.

I think that the lid with the brush on is a great idea, helps to shape your brow after application. I got the colour hazel, I feel this is a much more suited colour for me than the dark brown I was currently using. It's a lot softer colour on my brows and lasts the day. I like the smooth and easy application, gives you a natural yet filled in look. I think this is a great product, but I still want to branch out and try some more brow products after I've used this up.

What brow products do you use?

My Beauty Secrets

- As soon as my nail varnish starts chipping off, I will pick it off. I also pick it off if I'm anxious or bored.

- I never wore make up til I was 18 and then I only wore eyeliner for about 4 months before I brought other products.

- If I'm in a 'can't be bothered' mood, I will use baby wipes instead of micellar water to take my make up off. I normally regret it the next morning and wait for a spot to appear.

- I feel very uncomfortable if I'm outside house without make up on.

- I am 21 and I've only purchased one thing from lush, having a trip soon to correct this.

- I learnt the majority of my beauty/skincare knowledge and about the products from bloggers/YouTube.

-I don't brush my hair every morning, it looks better after it has been washed with my natural curls. I run my fingers through, to get rid of knots.

- I hate how my feet look without nail polish, it's rare I have them unpolished and pedicured. Even other peoples feet gross me out, especially if they aren't groomed.

- I buy lots of lipstick and always forget to re-apply throughout the day. I feel like it's a little waste of money because I don't wear them as often as I should.

- I still can't get to grips with contouring and highlighting.

A short and sweet post of my beauty secrets, share some of yours?

Imperial Leather - Foamburst Body Wash*

Hey guys, today I'm gonna talk about this body wash for the shower/bath. I only have a shower at home so I like to find really great products so I can enjoy it because I don't like showers that much. I got this product sent to me in the scent sweet vanilla and cherry blossom. It smells amazing, you can really smell the vanilla in it so it's a 'warm' scent to me, something great for those chilly nights that are creeping up on us. I love getting out of a shower and feeling clean and smelling great, so this one is perfect. It comes out as a gel but turns into a foam while using it.

As the gel burst into foam while using it, you can get a good amount of washes from it. It says 40 uses on it, but I use a lot so mine might not last 40. Also as it is foam, similar to shaving foam, you can use for that very use. Which is great because I am forever looking for products to put on my skin before shaving so I don't get those red bumps. I really loved how this product cleansed and I have used it with a body puff and my hands, It works great either way. I am very excited to get some more scents for the winter, the most appealing to me are Blackberry with Wild Fig & Re-balancing green tea with Jasmine. I highly highly recommend you pick some up, they are very affordable and you can get them at your local superdrug.

There's 7 genies to represent the different fragrances, with an 8 week giveaway of daily prizes, along with 7 big prizes in celebration of the campaign! The prizes are great so definitely worth entering! Make sure you go and enter!
Find out more at: www.foamburstgenies.com

Have you tried the foam burst range yet? Do you think you will?

Bioré Blackhead Nose Strips

Bioré Nose Strips - £7.99

Hey everyone. I have always been aware of blackheads and always struggled to keep them away. I have tried lots of different products but alas it hasn't helped. So, I saw these on Zoella's channel and I have seen a lot of other bloggers rave about them before. I decided to pick them up even though they are a pricey £7.99 for 6 strips. I am amazed by these strips. All you need to do is cleanse your face, then wet your nose. While your nose is wet apply the strip and wait about 10-15 minutes.

When taking it off, do it quite carefully. I pulled one off fast and pulled a bit of skin off, It didn't hurt but it wasn't great. When you've taken off the strip you can see all the blackheads that was taken out on the strip. It is a lot better than the cleansers and creams in my opinion because you can see it working and see the blackheads it has removed. I found this does work better alongside some black head cleanser though, but I feel the strips make a big difference itself.

Have you tried these yet? What did you think?

Yu! Healthy Snacks*

So I've recently come across these healthy little snacks. To say they are delicious is an understatement. Personally the Strawberry bar topped with yogurt tastes like jelly and ice cream but its healthy and good for you, so win win. These yummy little treats are all made from real fruit, none of that processed fake stuff. There is no artificial colours, flavorings or preservatives. I've been becoming a lot more aware of what I eat lately and what I'm putting in my body. It's so important to eat healthy but to most people it feels like a chore and you don't enjoy it.

I do genuinely enjoy a lot of healthy foods but these snacks taste amazing and are healthy. They are perfect for on the go, to pop in your handbag so you can nibble on them rather than picking up some chocolate. They would be a great snack to put in your children's lunch boxes. If you go to the gym or have a morning work out, have one of these fruit pieces before or after to help keep you going and give your body some goodness and nutrition. My favourite is the granola pieces, I've tried the mango and granola covered in yogurt and it's so nice, a light snack. But I really can't wait to try the strawberry and raisin ones, I have a feeling these snacks will be in my kitchen cupboards a lot.

If you don't really like fruit, these are a great way to introduce it into your diet. Have you tried Yu!, do you think you will be picking some up? These are stocked in TESCO where all the dried fruit is.

A little update: Living in the fast lane

Hey guys, this is just a little update on whats happening in my little life right now. Things have been very busy lately and any free time I get, I go and see my wonderful boyfriend. We've been have a lot of snuggle, film evenings lately as that holiday pretty much polished off the last of our money for a couple of weeks. I also got a second job, so now I have my Uni course and 2 part time jobs, phew. Busy, busy busy. I am the worlds worst procrastinator and of course, I left my uni assignment to the last minute, opps. I've been rushing to get that done the last couple of days as well as starting my new job. Luckily I had this week booked off for holiday at the bar so I can have a bit of time to adjust and get things sorted.

My second job is working in a baguette shop, I make about 200 baguettes a day I reckon, I work over lunch time, so it is very very busy and rushed. But hey, its money right? As I've been very busy and adjusting to my yet again new routine a lot of coffee has been needed. I am obsessed with buying different mugs and I've been using my pretty floral one more lately, I always swap between each for a while, I'm such a loser, I know.

My little hamster, Cheeks has been having extra cuddles off me lately, while I was on holiday, she escaped and cut her feet a bit so shes been in a bit of a grump. She hasn't ran in her wheel, but I think its because it will hurt her feet, so lots of treats and cuddles. She loves her little coconut so she just sleeps in it between my legs while I type away, that's where she is this very minute aha.

What have you been up to? I'd love to know :)

The Orange Doodle Nail

I love this simple but beautiful design for nail art. You can use it as an accent nail or do all of your nails with this design. You will need any base colour, I've gone for an orange to make the doodles stand out. I used Rimmel Tangy Tangerine. You will also need an old eyeliner or black nail art pen and a top and base coat, I recently ran out of my top coat, So I am using the base coat as the top as well.

For this simply beautiful nail design, use your base coat and the colour, apply over all your nails, you must wait for them to dry properly. After they have dried, grab your old eyeliner or nail pen, just start at the bottom and work your way up. Do little squiggles, dots and curved lines, make sure they go together so there isn't any big spaces. Either all of your nails or just an accent one. To make it more personal, you can write a letter in the center and do squiggles and doodles around the letter. After the doodles have dried, apply your top coat, do quite a thick layer so that it won't chip off.

So what do you guys think?

Sk:n - Hair Removal*

I've been very interested in trying laser hair removal for a while now, I hate shaving and I know most of you will as well. It is such a chore in my beauty regime and I've looked into this and think I am very tempted to try it out.

Their permanent hair removal treatment is very well priced and they have an amazing care system where they will do a review on your fourth treatment to see the progress and review your treatment plan. Prices start from £39 for Eyebrows/Earlobes. My eyebrows are the worst for me, I don't like waxing or threading so they grow back very quick. I think having something like this done would be very beneficial in my routine, another thing I won't have to worry about.

If you do want somewhere else done, they do from bikini, to jaw and even your chin. I will link below the website so you can see a full price plan and if there is a clinic near you.

I would also recommend looking at the skin products they have in there online shop, they look amazing and I really want to try some out.

The clinics are quite wide spread in the UK so I'm sure you will have one near you. My nearest is birmingham, yay! They have lots places in London, Scotland and the South.

Find the website here with all the details on: https://www.sknclinics.co.uk/treatments-and-pricing/laser-hair-removal

If you want to get laser hair removal ,permanent laser hair removal and laser hair treatment make sure you check out sk:n. They have a great and growing reputation in the world of beauty treatments.

Have you guys ever had hair laser treatment? Would you like to try it, like me?

Models Own Facebook Giveaway Prize

Models Own, Velvet Goth, Sardonyx & Pastel Pink - £5 (each)

I recently entered a Models Own Facebook giveaway. I won a runners up prize of a £10 gift Voucher. I love Models Own polishes but don't pick them up as often as I'd like. I used my £10 voucher almost instantly. I've been wanting to try the new Velvet Goth range ever since they came out, I went for the dark red colour in Sardonyx. It applies beautifully, it goes on glossy and dries with a Matte finish. The little red sparkles make it a perfect autumn/winter & Christmas polish for me. I also picked up the Pastel pink, I love pale pink polishes whatever the season. They are a nice light colour, that looks clean, neat and with minimal effort, you don't need any nail art with a nice pale pink mani. It lasts quite a good time with my top coat added and doesn't chip so easily, which makes me very happy.

I still had to pay for the P+P but got 2 free polishes so I'm very pleased.

Go to http://www.modelsownit.com/ to pick up these beauties.

Have you tried the new Velvet Goth polishes?

The Sunday Post: Bournemouth times

This weekend I have been in Bournemouth with my boyfriend, it has been really nice to get away, get out of the norm. Even when we were just relaxing it was lovely. From the pictures you can see on the start of our journey on the train I caught up on my blogging. We went to the oceanarium, in the arcade and won some teddies over the weekend. In one of the pictures you can see a wooden skull bracelet, Scott won tickets and got it for me, I love it.

We have had lovely meals while we've been here. I love animals, so I love that I've got to see such a variety. Our hotel was beautiful and we had an ocean view, it was perfect, took us about 5 minutes to walk to the beach. I had an amazing time and was so glad I got to spend all my time with my boyfriend. No matter what the weather you always need to have some ice cream at the seaside, mint choc chip is my fave, couldn't resist. Fed some ducks too, it was cute.

The Fragrance Shop - Discovery Club*

The Fragrance Shop - Discovery Club - £5 (per quarter)

I got this lovely, cute box delivered to me in the post. It's kind of like a glossy box but just fragrance, it includes 6 fragrance samples and they are those tiny little bottles so you can get quite a good amount of sprays from them. There are male and female fragrances, I gave the male one in this box to my boyfriend, the Gucci one and the rest I kept for myself, hehe. I'm currently on the train going on holiday and I didn't want to take my big bottles of perfume, they can easily get damaged, I took 2 of these mini's with me.

They are perfect to keep in your handbag and gives you a nice new scent to work with every so often. As well as getting the samples, you get up to £60 worth of vouchers in the box too, the samples you get I think. I am in love with the Elizabeth Arden - Untold, so if I fancy picking it up, I can get money off. I think it is totally worth £5, but I don't know how often I would have it. I would recommend people look into it and get a box. But you don't have to commit so you can cancel any time, you can smell amazing and try out some high end scents and see if they work well with you.

Go here to get more information and the box - http://www.thefragranceshop.co.uk/discovery-home.aspx

Have you got this box or want to try it?

Dicky Bow Review

Greetings Cards Animal Pack - £4.95

I picked up these cards after Dicky Bow followed me on instagram and twitter, their simple yet cute design is perfect for a birthday or thank you card. I picked up the Animal pack, if you know me at all, you will know I'm a massive animal lover and Owls and Foxes are two of my favourite animals, Elephants being the first, but its rare to see an elephant card not for babies.

The cards are thick and really good quality with a cute brown envelop that looks like the parcel paper. They have other amazing designs which are great for all occasions. I was so so impressed with the delivery, they post them first class and I got them the next day. Having that effeicence in delivery is great if you want one and have forgeotten about an event, knowing you will have them within a day or 2.
You can buy them at dickybow.co.uk

Miniature Madness

So on my recent trip to boots I picked up quite a few miniatures. I love using cute mini things, It is a great way to try out a new product and see if its worth buying the more expensive full size product. Its also great for going on holiday. I'm going away for the weekend this week with my boyfriend and these are great for packing light. The teeny tiny mouthwash and toothpaste will come in handy too I'm sure. Boots are also currently having a 3 for 2 offer on these tiny beauties, so it would be foolish not to take advantage.

So I picked up the soap and glory hand sanitizer, I get buses and I'm not a fan of public toilets so I love having this with me and its the perfect size to pop in your handbag. The mini body spray is from Ted Baker, I didn't know they did them so I got a mini one to try and it smells amazing. I got the simple Dove mini deodorant to take on holiday. The curl defining shampoo I am excited to try, I have such awkward and annoying hair so I am on the hunt to find an amazing shampoo and conditioner that will make my curls better formed and less frizzy.

The dry shampoo I got to keep in my bag if I need a boost, I love the extra volume you get from them, haven't tried this Charles Worthington one yet though. I chose the mousse to help my curls and to test it out, I love the effect of mousse but some of the ones I try make my hair feel horrible. Finally as I said before, these last two are for my weekend away.

Do you like miniatures like me?

Halloween blood drip nails [DIY]

I did this cool design of blood dripping down the nail, I have seen it around and wanted to share with you guys how simply and easy it is, while looking awesome. It would be perfect to go along a Halloween look.

So, all you will need is a red nail polish, I used Nails Inc - St James & you will need a dotting tool, unless you have a steady hand aha. So first step, simply do a couple of random dots about half way down your nail with the tool or free hand if you can. After that do a tiny and untidy line of the red nail polish along to top of your nail. The final step is to join the dots to the line and there you go, a simple nail art trick for you to try out.

If you would like to see more posts like this please let me know!

Micellar Water: Taaj VS L'Oreal

Taaj Micellar Cleansing Water - £21.52
L'Oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Solution - £4.99

Hey guys, so today I'm going to talk about water, micellar water to be precise. I have been using the Taaj micellar water to remove my make up for about a year now, I am very pleased with it and it does make my skin break out less. I notice when I get lazy and start using wipes to take my make up off my skin just goes into breakout hell. I can really feel it working and almost acting like a toner as well, It makes my skin all tingly after application. I love this product but it always stings my eyes, I don't know why it just irritates them when taking off stubborn mascara or heavy eyeliner.

I brought the L'Oreal Paris micellar water because I wanted to see how it would be, being a quarter of the price, could it really live up to the Taaj micellar water name. When using this product I was pleasantly surprised, it felt so soft on my skin and my make up came off in such a smooth motion. I have no stinginess to my eyes when taking off my make up which was great after getting it from the Taaj water. I will be using this a lot more, I am starting to favor it a lot more than the Taaj to be honest.

What do you use?

Halloweek: The Violet Undead

Hey guys, so to start off my Halloweek looks, I'm putting this one out early because I have quite a few in mind and want to try and spread them out. I went for a basic 'undead' look for starters. Pale face with dark eyes and lips. This is a simple look to do and is great for going out to a club or party for Halloween, you don't wanna spend loads of time on a look, when you will just get drunk and probably smudge it throughout the night.

So for starters on my face I just applied some white face paint with a sponge and buffed it into my skin. I went over my brows a bit more because I have dark eyebrows and wanted them covered as much as possible. I chose a dark purple eye shadow, you can get one in most eye shadow palettes. I covered my lid and stretched out a bit more and formed a point. I went over my lid with a black eye shadow to make my eyes more darker in the center. I applied some liquid eyeliner just to give a cats flick look.

I used a lighter purple and just made a line from my inner brow and down my nose, I then smudged this with my finger to make my nose look thin and bony. And finally I just applied a dark purple lipstick, mine is from Revlon, but it is an old one, I can't even see the number on the bottom now aha. You can get one in a drugstore though, I'm sure.

I hope you like this look as much as I liked doing it.

Blog Business Cards

I decided to buy myself some business cards for my blog. I immediately went to Moo because I used them when I had my online business and they were always amazing quality. The gloss finish was lovely, but I do wish I had now got the rounded edges but oh well. I'm happy with them. They are thick card with a gloss finish which keeps them looking professional. On the moo website you can see what other people have used them for as well as their other products like the mini business cards which are very popular.

I can imagine having these will be handy, when I'm talking to someone about my blog or meet other bloggers at a meet up or event, they can be handed out and help me promote my blog to new readers. With Moo you get to design your own which I loved, I added on my commission picture I got from Carly Watts on the back and a photo of me above my information, so its more personal.

You do get amazing quality and for that you know you will pay a bit more, but its totally worth it for a professional and personal finished product. I got 50 cards for £13.19 (plus p+p) but if you go for the Mini business cards you can get 100 cards for £9.17 (plus p+p). I very much push you all to check out moo, I think you can even get some samples to see what the quality is like, have a nosy around the website.

Mini Primark Haul #2

Handbag - £10, Purse - £5 & Umbrella - £4

I just can't seem to stay away from Primark, but I really need to, its taking all my money! Anyway aha, I went again recently, as you can tell from the title. I only picked up 3 things though, but a beautiful 3 things they are. I only spent £19 and that is really good for a handbag, a purse and a umbrella. I seem to have got them all to match, which I don't mind. I chose a colour compared to my usual black because I seem to wear a lot of black in the winter and having something colorful can just make a difference in the outfit and not make me look so dreary.

The bag is a beautiful faux leather with snakeskin effect trim detail in a dark teal colour. My purse is pretty much the same colour just slightly darker and it had gold stud detail. Its really quite handy and better than my old purse as it as a coin section on the back rather than just inside. I hate when you have loads of change and can't close your purse, so this is a bonus for me. The umbrella looks kinda camo print with pink flowers in the pattern.

Picked up anything from Primark recently?
