The Working Girl: Daily Must-Haves

Many of you will know that I recently started working full time, because of this I've realised how much I've had to tweak things in daily life and how easy it is to fall into bad habits. So I am making some changes and will be doing a 'The Working Girl' series for you lovelies. So, I will hand out any of my tips and ideas to make your working life just that bit easier and hopefully make you all happy. To start of the series with a basic one, these are my must have's during the working week, things may slightly differ but all of these are staples on a day to day basis. So first of all my phone, I need my phone next to me at all times anyway, banking, social networking, texting and so on.

The two beauty bits; I love a good mani, whether that's acrylic nails or a lovely fresh coat of polish, I try to have my nails nice every day. I also currently have the Revlon lip butter in my bag, but a week or so ago I was using Nivea lip butter in raspberry, I really like and need to keep my lips hydrated, especially in the cold, they dry out so easily and start to crack, nobody wants that. My arm candy consists of my Pandora bracelet which is growing in charms every special occasion, thanks to my lovely boyfriend. Alongside my bracelet is my rose gold watch from new look, normally to stare at angrily as I wait for public transport which usually infuriates me with being late. Finally hand sanitizer, again for the reason of buses and people sneezing everywhere and wiping germs all over the place. I always use Soap & Glory as it smells amazing with a floral sweet scent.

What are the little things you use everyday?

Valentines Day Gifts: For Him

Headphones: Beats by Dr. DreJack Wills Boxer SetNintendo 3DS Games Ralph Lauren CologneTopman WatchSuper Dry Hoodie

Now, unless you are some mind reader, I'm pretty sure like me, you girls find it very hard to buy for your other half. I've brought together a small collection of gifts that are pretty much fool proof. Headphones are used by most boys/men so having some decent ones would make anybody happy. Also clothes wise, a hoodie and some boxers can't really go wrong, plus men always seem to run out of boxers so a replacement every so often is always appreciated. Now, my boyfriend is a massive gamer, so games are a great gift for me to give, some guys are different so you can change bits around. Then you have the obvious easy presents, watch and cologne, Ralph Lauren has amazing scents, so go have a sniff!

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, I'm still deciding on what to buy!

Valentines Day Gifts: For Her

A lot of people get stumped for Valentines day and never know what to get their other half, so if you don't know what you want to get for your lady, or girls, if you want to 'hint' to your man of a good present, send him over to this post! These things are lovely and I'm sure a lot of ladies would be happy to have these handed over. Of course valentines day isn't about presents, its about spending time with your loved one but the present part is nice too, hehe. These are a few things I would happily wake up to on valentines day, even just one of them.

Perfume is an easy one to get for a girl, we love most scents but always keep the receipts just in case! I don't know about all girls here, but I have been craving this watch for ages, it's beautiful and elegant and something you would wear everyday. Casetagram is a big yes yes from me, it could be a really lovely and personal gift, you can choose your own photos so maybe picking some of your favourite couple snaps and having them printed on a phone case is a really cute idea. Chocolates and flowers are a traditional but always appreciated present, you can't really go wrong there. Lastly a bag, Zara of course, this little beauty is back and available to buy, so pick it up while you can boys!

Is there anything I missed off? A great valentines present idea?

I know I haven't blogged in quite a while now, I do apologize, I've been trying to for ages, but I've been so busy with starting a new job and adapting to a new sleeping pattern, all my spare time is spent lazing at my boyfriends, sleeping or going to the gym if I can drag myself there. I'm currently fighting my way to keep my eyes open even as I type this. My blog is going to be a bit unscheduled for the time being but I will try to sort it out for you guys who like to read the little bits that I write.

Look: In the office

If any of you guys follow me on twitter you will know I'm starting a new job tomorrow. However my area isn't required to wear 'office' clothing, I'd still like to look pretty professional but in a smart/casual way so not like full suit and all that. So I've clustered together a few key pieces I would love to have in my closet or something similar. I would be looking at over the next year building a more 'professional' section in my wardrobe for work. I'd be looking for collared shirts/blouses, trousers/jeans and some nice flats. Any shop recommendations are welcome? :)

If you would like to pick up any of the items in this posts, click the links below to find them.

Have any of you guys started a new job lately?
