The Working Girl: Healthier Quick Breakfasts

Pictures are from my instagram: find me @drainedbeauty

So now I'm working an doing different hours each day my breakfasts vary from something I grab quick as I run out the door to get the bus to having a while to make pancakes.

I've got a bit of a routine now with my food and my breakfasts are aimed to the more healthly side of things. I thought I would share a few with you guys so you can steal some of my ideas or even give me some more ideas to make my morning food more interesting.

  • 2 ingredient pancakes (recipe from Casey Ho)

- 2 free range eggs
- 1 banana
- mush banana into a paste, add eggs and whisk together, cook in a frying pan with a small amount of olive oil, add some fruit or compote to give it a bit of flavor

  • Granola and low fat yoghurt with fresh fruit - I normally have greek yoghurt and strawberries or banana
  • Cornflakes/Bran cereal alongside Activia yoghurt or fruit or breakfast biscuits
  • Poached eggs on wholemeal toast
  • In the spring/summer time, I prefer just a lot of fruit for breakfast so I have a mix of usually, grapes, pineapple, strawberries, mango, apple and kiwi (pre-made night before so quick to have)

What do you have, any ideas? Please let me know in the comments below always looking for new ideas

iPad mini cases

So I made an impulsive buy last week, we'll a few. Which I can't say I never do because I do it all the time aha. I picked up am iPad mini, which is really handy actually because my laptop just broke so I can still blog with ease aha. I'm actually writing this post on it right now, so it's helping me blog more on the go, which is good for you guys as I have been lacking posts lately. I apologise, again....

So to go with a beautiful new iPad comes cases and sleeves, need to protect it right? So not only did I splurge on an iPad mini, I also brought two designer cases, opps....I'm not even sorry. So I got this gorgeous floral hard back case which is ted baker and I got it from very.com for around £35 I then was looking at sleeves, I saw a few nice ones in primark but I knew they would Frey and look tacky after a while so I had a little look around the apple website to see that they have Michael Kors sleeves and cases and bags, so yeah I had to get it lol. I chose this beautiful tan colour because I thought it looked beautiful and classic. It was about £60 I think, don't quote me! So now my iPad is very well protected and is more designer than me. But it's to pretty to care aha.

Have you guys got an iPad or a tablet? What cases have you got?
