My Current Go-To Base

Now, I'm not the most confident, when it comes to my skin I'm always on the look out for new foundation to give me great coverage. This time I opted for Maybelline and got the mousse and liquid foundation. When putting these two together with my primer from Rimmel, it gives me the great coverage I'm after and lasts a really good time. I find that a lot of uneven skin tones and any small spots about to come to light get smoothly covered which means I don't have to apply as much concealer so I am really loving these at the moment. I got these in the 3 for 3 offer at boots so I got a free product as well, which I will also be doing a review on soon. Some days I haven't needed to apply concealer at all. I first apply the primer and give it 2-3 minutes to soak in. I then apply a small amount of the mousse just to give it a thin layer then apply the liquid foundation with my real techniques buffing brush, I buff it into my skin for about a minute and wa-la, ready to start the day.

Have you tried these products? What did you think?

  2. I've yet to try any of these products, but they all look really interesting! I have a dream matte mousse blush that I used to wear EVERY day when I was younger, and I loved it. I can imagine I'd feel the same about the foundation. The "satin liquid" just sounds heavenly, too. How would you say the primer works? I'm currently on the hunt for something similar to Benefit's Porefessional, but I don't want to be spending tons on a primer. I love my Rimmel Stay Matte powder, as it works better than most high-end powders so I'm hoping the primer from Rimmel is the same.
