Westfield Shopping Centre - Make a date*

Westfield Website - (http://uk.westfield.com/london/)

Unlike most bloggers I've never been to London, until recently that is. I was very kindly invited up to London with my boyfriend, Scott, to visit Westfield shopping center. Westfield have recently done a campaign called Make a Date. This is to show that westfield is more than a shopping, it's a great place to just have chill time with friends and even have a date with a special someone. Me and my boyfriend went for the typical film and food date as that is something we love to do. I've never been to London before and neither had Scott, so we were both excited and nervous.

I was mainly worrying about the tubes, but it was really easy to navigate around. It was pretty simple getting from London Euston to Westfield, Just the Victoria line to Oxford Circus, then switch to Central line to Shepards bush. It was a short two minute walk to the main entrance from the tube station, walking past a lot of restaurants and that made me super hungry, it all looked amazing, so much to chose from. You can find a list of all the restaurants in Westfield on their website, It would be a perfect place to have a lunch date. Me and Scott firstly went to Vue cinema and saw Dawn of the planet of the Apes, such an amazing film and the seats were so comfy. After the film we got hungry and out of all those amazing restaurants, I couldn't resist a Nando's, but who could? As always Nando's was super yummy and the service was amazing, I'm used to waiting about 30 minutes for food at my local Nando's the food was brought to us pretty much straight away, I was super impressed. We then went and did some shopping with all the great choice of stores. Obviously went to MAC which I will have a separate post on.

I also discovered Snog, sounds weird but it's the best thing ever. We don't have any Frozen Yoghurt shops or stands in Coventry which sucks big time, so I may have had two....but shhh. It's so yummy and you get a decent size serving for the price, which I was pleased with, normally they just give you tiny amount for like £5 but this was perfect. I had strawberry frozen yoghurt with oreo's, strawberries and blueberries, mmmm. I could totally go for another one right now.

It was such a great day and if you've never been there or you are visiting London soon, I highly recommend going there for a day or even just an afternoon. It's perfect for shopping and everything else. I am already planning my next trip up to London and I will be going to Westfield again.

Have you guys ever been to Westfield? What did you think?

Summer New Look Picks

Summer, summer, summer, another time to find excuses to go shopping. Always need some new shoes, bags, tops, shorts or anything else you can find. Everyone loves shopping and as I currently don't have enough money to buy all these lovely things, I can pretend and 'window shop' online. These are a few of my favourite picks that you can find all at newlook. Now, I don't have the body shape for shorts, but a girl can dream. I will get there one day and look completely bad ass hot in these things. I'm very into prints and floral this summer along with pastel colors, which I seem to love all year round anyway, but pastels always look great.

I'm very much loving these backpacks lately as soon as some spare money comes my way, they will be top of my list! Not that I don't have enough bags already, with no storage for them. Anyone have any decent handbag storage ideas, let me know.

Any summer items you're currently loving?

Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Foundation

Elizabeth Arden Foundation £28 (very.co.uk)

My lovely boyfriend brought me this treat after I passed my 6 month probation at work. I've never had a high end foundation before and was very intrigued to see if paying more was worth it. I don't have any problems with drugstore makeup, some of them are my absolute fave, including my love of the wake me up Rimmel foundation. I didn't want to go for the typical mac or Nars foundation, I've never really heard many review on this one, so I wanted to give it a go. I am very glad I did.

The foundation is very light and has a thinner consistency than most of the foundations I use. The formula is perfect though, it buffs into my skin so well with my real techniques buffing brush and I hardly need to use any for amazing coverage. It also makes my skin look very smooth, almost fills in pores for a air brushed finish. So far i'm in my second week of using it and trying very hard to go back to my drug store foundation for now, not to use it all on going to work aha. I only use a tiny amount of concealer, if any, because the coverage seems to hide small blemishes too, so I'm not clogging my skin up with loads of products. I am super impressed with the foundation and will certainly be looking into purchasing some more Elizabeth Arden beauty products.

Have any of you guys used any of Elizabeth Arden products, any recommendations?

Rehab Hair Review

BEFORE

AFTER

I recently got my mop chopped. I had my hair so long for such a long time and it just got too thick and uncontrollable, you girls with super thick hair will know what I'm on about. I have never really let people cut my hair that much, my older sister always used to do it and she passed away some years ago and I've only ever been to Rehab, I'm really funny about who cuts my hair. I don't get my hair cut often but when I do I go here. I always pay a bit extra and get Chris the Director to cut and style my hair. He always does a super amazing job. The salon is beautiful, very modern and everyone is so lovely. I started off getting my hair washed on their amazing massage chairs which certainly put me in a relaxed mood. They put out the products they use on your hair at your little station which is handy if you want to pick them up, you can get them there straight away or at least know what it is so you can pop back in and get it.

Then the cutting started, I got a lot cut off and a little fringe put in, he styled it amazing and took such good time and care into it. You can see the difference above at the thickness and length took off. He thinned my hair and I'm pretty sure you can make a full wig with the amount of hair that left my head. The appointments are estimated at 45 minutes each. Because I have so much hair my appointment took about 1hr 20 minutes. He didn't start to rush though after it past the 45 minute mark, he still took the same amount of care which I really think is great. There is different pricing for the level of hairdresser you have. The cutest thing to, they take down your birthday and send out vouchers for you to use near your birthday, can't wait! You can find full details on the pricing and services (here). If you live in the Coventry area, I highly, highly recommend going to visit, they do more than hair too!
