The Smell of Christmas*

There is nothing quite like evenings in when it starts to get a bit colder outside. We put away the party dresses, get out our sweats and PJ's and enjoy evenings in with films, hot drinks and cuddles under the blanket, whether it is with your family, best friend or loved one. For me a major part of these evenings in is a candle or Yankee wax tart. It makes the whole room smell amazing and a lot like Christmas with all the new and old favourite scents.

Candles make the room so cosy and its perfect when its cold and snowy outside, my favourite scent in winter is cinnamon, spiced orange and all the warming smells. So my favourite wax tarts are Icicles and Candy Cane Land, the wax tarts are very much worth the money, they can last quite a few burns and  with the pool of wax in the burner it fills the room with the amazing aroma of the yankee wax tarts. After you have the burner and the wax tarts all you need is tea lights which you can get very cheap.

Yankee direct have such an amazing variety of burners which can suit any home and you can even get Christmas themed ones for the festive season (here). They also have a wide range of wax tarts which are from as little as £1.20 which you can get (here).

What is your favourite Yankee scent for Christmas time?
