Updated: Pamper Night Essentials

My skin has changed a lot the last few months. By changed I mean it's gone to s**t. I've slacked a bit over the colder months, really when I should be focusing on it more, but that has changed now. I have started taking better care of my skin and I can really tell the difference.

I try to have one pamper night a week, I don't always get around to it but I try my best, with my blog, work and writing for The Coventry Telegraph my time is very limited. So below are a few of the things I am using in my pamper evening to get that fresh and pampered feeling before I get into bed. With new bed sheets of course! I love the feeling of getting into a freshly made bed with new sheets.

I start in the shower as you should know, I don't have a bath, which sucks big time. So no lush in this pamper night, sorry guys! After my usual shampoo, conditioner, body wash, just before I get out of the shower fully I use Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub. I never got this when it was 'all the rage' it's not very often I will 'jump on the bandwagon'. I got this only a few months ago before Christmas and couldn't get over how amazing it made my skin feel. Also it smells of kiwi and lime so it's a really fresh scent, nice to have after a shower. When I'm out the shower I use another Soap & Glory favourite Heel Genius, I use a generous amount and let that soak in so my feet are all smooth and soft. No one wants crusty feet.

Then I only have a little skin care routine on my pampers because my skin is starting to improve. I start with Quick Fix Facials Mega Moisture Mask, I would go for the Purifying Charcoal one but they didn't have it last time I went in, so this is my next favourite. Then I move onto the Benefit Instant Comeback Facial Serum paired with the No7 Youthful Eye Serum. I find these two work really well together and the Eye Serum helps brighten the awful dark circles under my eyes.

My final two products I use is the Benefit Triple Performing Facial Emulsion and Botanics Hydrating Night Cream. The Benefit Facial Emulsion is a really lightweight product and oil-free, so I don't feel like I'm caking more and more products on my face. It doesn't take long to soak in and really helps my skin feel moisturised and smooth. The majority of my night creams I reach for are Botanics, I love the whole range, it's so affordable and great quality. I find myself waking up and feeling better in my skin when using the All Bright Hydrating night cream.

What do you use in your pamper routine at the moment?

  2. I got the soap & glory sugar crush years ago way before I got into beauty blogs and stuff and have been in love with it ever since! It really does everything you could want from a skin scrub at such an affordable price!
I too, don't have a bath and it sucks so badly!! I always pop into Lush for some of my skincare products and are so depressed that I can buy and bring home the beautiful packages; have you used the shower jellies though? I'm really eager to try them out so I can inject a bit of lush back into my life even in a bath-free home haha!!
I try to put a facemask on twice a week on the nighs I don't go into a sauna to cleanse my skin, so it gives me a bit of time to relax with myself I love it when I actually get round to it - I love the soap & glory no clogs allowed; have you tried it??
I've got quite oily but really dehydrated skin so I might try out the benefit emulsion!! Looks like exactly the thing I need to invest in ! would you reccomend it?? :) - Millie x
