Sunday Summary #6

This week has been very up and down. I've been very moany lately and I do apologise. The last two weeks have just been a bit blah to be honest. I've been having trouble with my family again and the police are getting involved now and it's just throwing my stress levels through the roof and I'm normally a carefree and calm person. I think because of all this extra stress it's taking it toll on my body as well. I haven't been eating a lot lately, getting spots and even had a panic attack at work.

It was the second panic attack I've ever had so I had no idea on how to handle it, I had convinced myself I was going to die, I felt dizzy and my heart was racing, I just went outside work and cried for a bit then called my boyfriend who helped me with deep breathing and calming down.

After all this I've realised it's not healthy. I have blogilates fitness journal to fill out make sure I'm eating right and healthy. I downloaded quite a few meditation apps on my phone to help me chill out more just during the week and I will try to work out when I'm feeling stressed.

Apart from that I have had some nice meals and getting back into green smoothies, Scott has been super and it great at cheering me up. We had an amazing weekend, went to see the Minions movie, highly recommend, so funny! Had a fry up on Sunday, watched wreck it ralph and had lots of cuddles. Much needed cuddles. Time just needs to fast forward to the end of the year so we can live together.

How has your week been lovelies? Better than mine I hope, let me know in the comments.

Sunday Summary #5

This week hasn't been the best. I've had family drama at home, been poorly and just in a general meh mood. The only upside has been when I've been at my boyfriends and got to finish work earlier on the weekend.

I've been more focused on my fashion this week and been loving stripes! I bought a gorgeous stretchy striped top from Primark for only £3.50. Bargain! I've also got back into blogging again which I love and even did a post for the Coventry Telegraph. Even though it's been a crappy week, I've tried to be productive.

I have been enjoying the sun and finally getting a chance to wear my new sunglasses, picked these beauties up from River Island, I feel the detail on the sides make them look more expensive than they are, always a bonus. Me and my boyfriend have also decided we might rent for a bit first, which means I could move out at the end of the year, which would be so much better, no drama and a little nest me and my boyfriend can live together.

What have you been doing this week? Let me know in the comments below

Evening Essentials

I don't know about the rest of you but sometimes I really struggle to get to sleep and toss and turn. Sit on my laptop, turn it off then go on my phone doing the same stuff, it's pretty stupid to be honest. A lot of studies have actually said it's super bad to go on your phone before bed, it doesn't help you brain get into 'relax' mode and keeps you up and your brain active when you should be settling down for bed.

Three Summer Scents

Summer is upon us, hot weather, ice cream in the park, the smell of snb lotion and freshly cut grass. I do like summer, but I will always favourite the winter. Floral scents have always been my favourites, the fresh girly smell. I have three I have been loving loads lately and will be my go to this summer.

Jo Malone - Peony & Blush Suede (£42 30ml)

Jo Malone is a favourite to pretty much everyone, especially in the blogging world. Jo Malone is certainly on the higher end of perfume but it's totally worth it. This is a very fruity scent with the blush suede which makes it smell all the more luxurious. I've been reaching for this one a lot more lately and is going to need replacing by the time summer is over. Just in time for the blackberry and bay scent for winter.

Marc Jacobs - Daisy (£52 50ml)

Marc Jacobs is a household name, beautiful bags, cute phone cases and the prettiest perfume bottles you ever will see. They really stand out on your dressing table and during spring and summer the flowers just draw you to it. This is a very fresh floral scent, it's the perfume I normally wear if I'm out for brunch or going on a date with the boyfriend. With the set I got for my birthday, I had a little baby bottle of Daisy perfume as well, so perfect to re-fresh during the day. Especially if you have a smelly lunch or have 'bus' smell. We all know bus smell, no one wants that.

Viktor & Rolf - Flowerbomb (£50 30ml)

This has always been a favourite of mine, since I was about 16. I find it quite a musky floral smell, which I wouldn't normally think goes well together. But this perfume is the best proof. There is definitely a Jasmine and Rose scent in there somewhere. Perfect for everyday, whether it is going to work or a night out on the town.

What is your favourite summer scent?

Charmed Ivy Jewellery*

Charmed Ivy is one of my favourite online Jewellery stores, as well as being owned by my blogger friend Natalie. The boho and spirituality vibe is 100% my thing and these are top quality pieces. I am starting to build up my jewellery collection after getting rid of so many in a clear out. These 4 pieces will be my key items this summer.
