Life is a journey about finding yourself and getting to the point where you are content in your own skin. That's what I think anyway. I've spent a lot of my life and my teenage years not liking myself, wether thats my weight, hair colour, spots or even how short I am. I always focused on the negatives and was so hard on myself. I think some things like this is what contributed towards me getting anxiety and then that in turn stopped me from enjoying my life. I wouldn't go theme parks or go to do certain activities because I was embarrassed or didn't feel confident enough. I wish I could go back in time and tell myself to go out and enjoy life.
I don't want to spend the rest of my life not doing things because I don't feel confident. I'm on a journey with Slimming World to lose weight and make myself healthier but in the mean time I'm not putting my life on hold. I didn't want to do any fashion posts on my blog until I had lost weight but i thought, why not? I need to stop being my worst critic. We need to embrace ourselves and our bodies. We are lucky enough to be alive and get to enjoy the journey of life, fall in love and go through amazing experiences. Over the next year or two I'm going to stop criticising myself and learn to love myself and my body. If there is something I don't like I can probably change it and if I can't, no need to be bothered about it then!
Deep stuff aside, casual days in the Sun are my favourite. As per, wearing my comfy cheap leggings from Primark, only about £3. Paired with a slimming black Nothing to Wear top from Boohoo in the plus size range for £10. Nothing quite pulls a spring/summer outfit together than a good pair of sunglasses, Firmoo have an amazing collection and I'm certainly going back to get more. I picked up this beautiful pair for $19. I'm still growing my brand deebee and loving the All Seeing Eye necklace, so of course it is included in this look! Last but not least and my favourite new item I picked up was the festival styled fringed bag from River Island, I picked this up on Very though.
