Sunday Summary #22

This week has been a bit of a rollercoaster. It's been very up and down with Lily, she's either been knackered all day and pretty much just slept the majority or she's been fighting to stay awake, having a lot of trouble with her teeth trying to come through. I feel this week I'm starting to find the balance though, so I can get stuff done for myself as well as looking after Lily. She loves cuddles and I could sit there and cuddle her all day in between the feeds and nappy changes. However then I don't have any time for myself, to get the housework done or do a quick post. I've started to put her down once she's asleep and get a lot more done which you will notice from the influx in posts coming your way.

On Monday, Scott and I went for our first date night since having Lily. She stayed at his parents for a couple of hours while we went to see Thor: Ragnarok. It was an amazing film, if you are into the whole Marvel universe/superheroes definitely go and see this. Also, who wouldn't want to watch Chris Hemsworth for a couple of hours? I did miss Lily and want to constantly check my phone to make sure she was okay but I remained strong and enjoyed our quality time together. It's important to make time for yourselves as a couple as well as being parents.

The other thing that happened this week is the Costa Christmas drinks came out, it always makes me excited for Christmas. It's my favourite time of year and I know it will come round quick. It will be our first Christmas with Lily which I can't wait for. She's too young to enjoy it and open her own presents but it will still be a nice family day. I opted for the Salted Caramel Cappuccino from Costa. Anything Salted Caramel can just go straight in my belly! It was certainly nice and a good drink but I don't think it swayed me away from my favourite which is the Black Forest Hot Chocolate. I could inhale those faster than Usain Bolt round the track.

How has your week been? Let me know in the comments below.
