Esquires Is Christmas Ready | Coventry

Coffee shops are one of my favourite places to be. I just feel so calm when I'm there. The atmosphere is always amazing, the smell of freshly ground coffee and fresh pastries is my idea of heaven. I had organised with my Coventry Bloggers group for a few of us to go to Esquires Coffee in Coventry and try the new Christmas menu. It is never to early to start feeling festive!

There was a beautiful set up with such cute and festive trinkets and the most scrumptious looking Christmas treats and food to try. I of course went for the classic to start of with a Mince pie, this one was particularly tasty as well as being dairy and gluten free so no affecting my lactose intolerance, yay! It tasted so good as it was but would of been a full 10 out of 10 if it was slightly warmed up.

Gaining Confidence This Year*

I really feel that this year I have come out of my shell a bit more. I do more things and keep myself busy. I try to say yes to more things and do things I normally wouldn't do. Some have turned out good and some have not. But we live and we learn, that is what life is all about.

2018 is not too far from being over, the next two months are just a festive whirlwind of mince pies, presents and spending time with those that mean the most to you. Before you know it you will be counting down to the new year and getting a kiss at midnight, whether thats from you husband, partner, mum or pet dog.

2018 has been a crazy year of different emotions, finding out things about myself which I never knew and making and breaking friendships. There have been some friendships that haven't lasted the year and I am okay with that, they were not meant to be and I can see how much happier and more content I am now that I have moved on from them. Late in 2017, I started a group called the Coventry Bloggers it had about 4 members and I wanted to create a potential meet up so we can make friends in the city and maybe see if we could do an event or two.

Get Personal For Christmas | Tesco Photo*

I have certainly discovered the more personal side to Christmas as I've got older and it is more about family than getting a huge pile of presents. Presents are a lovely part of Christmas and I would never stop giving presents as I love it. Especially since having Lily, personalising presents is my favourite thing to do. I love to be creative and give something different than the normal perfume, chocolate and gift sets. I feel that it just gives that something extra and shows you have really put some thought into your gift.

Ballxrs | Adult Ball Pit Bar | Coventry

I don't really drink that much so if I go to bar's or nightclubs they need to have an edge, something to draw me in. I don't find dancing and drinking and having my shoes stuck to the floor fun anymore while people constantly bump into you. So places like Ballxrs which is new to Coventry is the perfect destination for someone like me.

Ballxrs is an adult ball pit bar, which just brings back amazing memories of me when I was younger in soft play and the ball pit was where it was at. I was expecting a small ball pit where people could sit and chill while having a drink but it was SO much better. The ball pit was huge and it was literally a sea of balls, you could dive in, jump backwards and just hide under all the balls and scare your friends. It was amazing, such a fun night.

The Cosy Club Christmas | Coventry

Christmas is only around the corner as we are into November and as cheesy as it is, it's the best time of year! There is nothing about Christmas that I don't like and one of everyones favourite things is Christmas food. The sprouts, the roast potatoes, the scrumptious gravy and everything else! I was over the moon when I was invited to Coventry's Cosy Club to try their Christmas menu. I took my wonderful friend Emma with me, but a lot of my fellow Coventry Bloggers were there as well.

FarGo Village | Halloween Market

Halloween was yesterday and I spent my halloween as I normally due, snuggled up watching The Simpsons Treehouse of Horrors. I also spent the weekend before Halloween at FarGo village for their Halloween market. There was so many independent stalls for handmade or unique things for sale. I really feel that supporting smaller brands and the one man show shops is really important for our economy so going to markets like this is really important and you get to see things you wouldn't normally in the big brand stores.
